All Dogs

This is a documentation photo of my sculptural work. I use wood as a medium to critique and meditate upon the issues with the masculine hegemony. I used to work with my dad, who is a general contractor and is also the source of my own masculinity, both the good and bad parts. Much like the wood that is hidden within the walls of the buildings around us, the structures that support patriarchy are hidden behind layers of hegemony.
